Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait Cement’s ordinary general meeting agreed on distributing 18% cash dividends for the fiscal year 2014.

The company will start paying the dividends as of 10 May.

Kuwait Cement’s production capacity amounts 16,000 tons a day, said chairman Rashed Al-Rashed.

The firm plans to resume exporting to the Middle East markets, once the status quo in the region settles down, added Al-Rashed.

Kuwait Cement posted KWD 17.32 million ($57.66 million) earnings in 2014, compared to KWD 17.16 million ($57.13 million) in 2013.
